ABB ENTERPRISE SOFTWARE, Houston, Texas

Senior Test Engineer / Software Engineer       Jun-2011 – Nov-2015

Participated actively as a Software Tester/Developer/Analyst in the Custom Development  Group.

·               Ensured the correctness of some of the calculations of an electricity market trading tool. Designed test cases and manually executed those using data from the Ontario electricity market.

·               Achieved successful releases of a .Net C# application which generates configurable Excel reports with data fed from an Oracle database. New features were designed, implemented and tested according to client requirements; working directly with the clients (and a support team), thus delivering the functionality that they really need.

·               Started automation of test cases for Windows desktop application using Sikuli.

·               Added new functionality to a gas company web site. Tested the new version and deployed it to production.

·               Using Excel VBA Macros, created a generator tool that produces Schedule and Meter XML data files.

Applied Agile Quality Engineering to ensure the functionality and performance of the released pricing products.

·               Design and execution of manual test cases for different modules of the retail revenue optimization software.

·               Storage and classification of test cases using HP’s QualityCenter.

·               Defined requirements for the development of an automated testing framework by an offshore team using Ruby and Watir. Validated the resulting framework for HTML and Adobe Flex user interfaces.

·               Using that framework and the Sikuli tool, created automated tests for the Pricing Analytics module.
